January 14th,  2019, The Financial Commission today announces the appointment of Dr. Katerina Troshina to its recently formed Blockchain Expert Committee to boost self-regulatory efforts for digital currency exchanges and Blockchain firms.

Dr. Troshina joins a growing number of crypto industry professionals in the Blockchain Expert Committee (BEC) who are committed to working with Financial Commission’s Blockchain Association member firms to process client disputes, find common solutions to technological and legal questions and build a self-regulatory framework for digital asset firms.

About Dr. Troshina

Dr. Katerina Troshina is the co-founder of SmartDec. This IT-company united highly skilled software developers, mathematicians, and analytics. This team works together for more than 9 years with new technologies in code analyzing industry. For the few last years, team achieved skills in blockchain technologies including development, audit, and verification blockchain solutions.

Katerina has a master’s degree in economics. She is an application security specialist, highly skilled at working with the largest static analysis tools and binary analysis. As a researcher, Katerina has experience in different blockchain technologies such as state-of channels, Plasma, zero-knowledge proof methods. She is the lecturer at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Higher School of Economics. Her goal is to involve secure blockchain solutions to the financial industry as more as possible.
