January 28th, 2020, The Financial Commission today announces the appointment of ex-CEO and Chairman of the Board of Alpari Group, Vladimir Verbitskiy to its Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC). Mr. Verbitskiy is the 25th industry expert to join the Financial Commission’s DRC – which consists of a diverse panel of industry professionals, who follow a non-bias protocol to process and resolve complaints from our members’ clients.

Enhancing the DRC structure

Mr. Verbitskiy is an experienced executive within the Forex industry. Prior to joining the Dispute Resolution Committee, Vladimir was the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Alpari group – one of the most well-known forex brands in the industry. Given his experience, Vladimir has a deep understanding of FX brokerage operations in various regions, as well as the specifics of financial instruments offered for trading around the world.

Mr. Verbitskiy has 20 years of experience in developing digital fintech businesses in the B2C and B2B segments. Having begun his career in the early 2000’s Vladimir has held numerous management and executive positions at several brokerages, including head of CIS market at ForexClub/Libertex, senior vice president at Alfa-Bank and most recently Chairman and CEO of Alpari Group. For many years Mr. Verbitskiy has participated in the development of regulatory norms and standards for the regulation of financial markets, as well as participated in the launch of non-profit organizations, which unite brokerages and other financial firms.
