CySEC Issues Warning Against Several FX Firms

The Financial Commission / Regulatory Actions / CySEC Issues Warning Against Several FX Firms

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has issued another warning regarding some unauthorized firms that have been soliciting customers on the island. The warning concerns the firms Naga-markets.online, CALIBER CAPITAL and IcFxMarkets, which also provide digital asset trading.

The regulator has indicated that the firms have also published misleading information purporting to be affiliated with other brokers in the country who actually hold CIF licenses with CySEC. As such, traders should always carefully check addresses and contact information published on a broker’s website to ensure that it is correct. Due to the unauthorized activity, the following domains have been blacklisted by CySEC:

  • Naga-markets.online
  • Icfxmarkets.com
  • Caliburcapital.net

We remind traders that they can easily check the status of their broker by using the “Check Your Broker” directory on the official Financial Commission website.
