The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom issued new warnings against unauthorized firms soliciting business in the country, as well as clones of legitimate firms that are possibly conducting scams.

The UK regulatory authority issued warnings against the following unauthorized firms in the last week:

  • Parantoux Trading
  • Investment Supermarket
  • Capital Seven
  • Olympus Global
  • STS Royals
  • Bitcoin Evolution
  • Walker Bryan
  • Credit Union Fund
  • My Safe Market
  • Carter FS
  • Standard Bit Options

The regulator also indicated that a clone platform of an EEA-authorized firm, Swed Bank, was operating in the country. For Swed Bank, the regulator detailed that the clone platform is operating from the web address www.sweduk.com, and also listed two emails of the operators – [email protected], and [email protected].

FCA also detailed that the authorized platform operated from www.swedbank.se and www.swedbank.com with a physical address in Sweden.

Traders should check the status of the broker they intend to trade with by using the ‘Check Your Broker’ directory on the official website of the Financial Commission and by visiting the Financial Services Register on the website of the FCA.
