The Financial Commission / Company News / Financial Commission Launches New Value-Added Services and Execution Certification Service for Brokers

August 16th, 2018, The Financial Commission, a leading independent member-driven external dispute resolution (EDR) organization for international online brokerages that participate in global foreign exchange (forex), derivatives, and CFD markets, today announces the launch of a new suite of “value-added” services for its broker members, as well as an Execution Certification service in partnership with Verify My Trade.

Execution certification

In support of new regulatory initiatives in Europe, the Financial Commission has taken a proactive approach and developed a new trade execution certification service. The Financial Commission has partnered with Verify My Trade to provide both brokers and customers the ability to access the quality of trade execution. Similar to the “best execution” requirements in major international jurisdictions, the certification service provides an added layer of transparency for brokers and their customers by highlighting the quality of trade executions.

The voluntary and simple to use process analyzes historical trade data on a monthly basis to determine satisfactory trade executions overall. Current and future Financial Commission broker members can use the service at no charge for one year. Brokers’ clients can check participating broker’s execution certification with the Financial Commission at no charge on a monthly basis by accessing the Members section.

Value-added services

The Execution certification service is one of four new “value-added” services launched by the Commission aimed at providing brokers the tools and services necessary to improve business practices, increase transparency and achieve operational efficiencies. To do this, the Commission has partnered with some of the leading companies in the industry, including Broker Pilot, DisputeWatch and Delkos Research.

The new services range from execution certification to access to actionable market research, virtual dealer tools and access to an exclusive invite-only community to help prevent fraudulent activity. The Commission will highlight each individual service in upcoming announcements.

Broker members and interested parties are encouraged to review the full suite of services on the Commission’s new dedicated services website page. To sign-up for a particular service, please reach out to the Financial Commission at [email protected].
