Doo Group has announced that its subsidiary, Doo Financial HK Limited, has been granted the Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) License by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (HK SFC).

The Type 1 license is a critical authorization for companies offering securities trading services in Hong Kong. The HK SFC awards this license after a thorough review of an applicant’s business operations, financial standing, corporate governance, and staff qualifications.

By obtaining this license, Doo Financial HK gains the ability to execute securities transactions, distribute specific securities like unit trusts and mutual funds, and participate in joint book-running, placing, and underwriting activities.

The Hong Kong market plays a vital role in Doo Group’s strategic expansion plans. Acquiring the Type 1 license allows Doo Financial HK to expand its service portfolio and offer a wider range of financial products and services to investors, opening up new investment opportunities.

Doo Financial HK already holds the HK SFC’s Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) licenses.
