OneRoyal, a leading global financial services provider, has announced the appointment of Anthony Potamitis as Chief Operations and Products Officer, further strengthening its senior leadership team as the broker enters its next phase of international growth.
Anthony brings more than 25 years of executive-level experience spanning product strategy, technology leadership, and trading operations across the fintech and gaming sectors. His appointment reflects OneRoyal’s continued focus on operational excellence, platform scalability, and customer-centric innovation in highly regulated environments.
Driving Platform Excellence and Scalable Growth
In his new role, Anthony will be responsible for overseeing operations, product strategy, and platform development, with a mandate to enhance execution quality, improve reliability and controls, and drive outcome-focused delivery across the organisation.
He has led large, multidisciplinary teams covering Product, Engineering, UX and Design, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Trading Operations, giving him a rare end-to-end perspective that aligns closely with OneRoyal’s ambition to scale efficiently while maintaining institutional-grade standards.

From Global Gaming Platforms to Financial Markets
Most recently, Anthony held a senior leadership role at King, part of Microsoft, where he worked on some of the world’s most successful mobile games, including the Candy Crush franchise. At King, he led major internal platform initiatives that delivered significant efficiency gains, including cost reductions of up to 70% and millions in annual savings.
His work spanned runtime optimisation, observability, AI enablement, and security enhancements, helping support large-scale operations, developer productivity, and long-term platform resilience.
Prior to his tenure in gaming, Anthony spent nearly two decades in brokerage and trading technology, holding senior roles such as Head of Product & Technology and Head of Trading Operations at Intertrader (Entain Group), and VP, Head of Product at easyMarkets. Across these positions, he led the design and delivery of multi-asset trading platforms, scaled global teams, managed M&A integrations, and launched products that helped shape the modern retail trading experience.
Earlier in his career, Anthony was an early hire and founding team member at FxPro, where he played a key role during the broker’s formative years. His responsibilities spanned customer support, development, trading operations leadership, and the creation of FxPro’s first Project Management Office, helping establish delivery structures that supported long-term growth.
